Hyundai Motor India Limited sold 11 lakh sunroof cars in India in 5 years. In the financial year 2024-25, every other Hyundai car was sunroof. The company has sunroof in 12 out of 14 models.
Sunroof in every other car
In the financial year 2024-25, every other car sold by Hyundai in India was sunroof. Something similar continued in the first half of 2025, in which 54% of Hyundai's domestic cell was of sunroof vehicles between January and June.
Commenting on this achievement, Hyundai Motor India Limited Director Tarun Garg said, “This milestone reflects the wishes of modern Indian customer, in HMIL, we have always worked towards providing global techniques and high level features to be easily available. Further, we will continue to feature furious products with latest technology and innovation.”
Sunroof in 12 out of 14 models
Hyundai currently offers sunroof in 12 of its 14 models, which has played a big role in making this feature popular on different segments and price points. To make these premium features more affordable, Hyundai has also localized panoramic sunroof for local manufacturing, which could lead to more affordable and reach more customers.
