Tata Motors has once again shown its focus on safety by getting the 2026 Tata Punch Facelift a perfect 5-star safety rating in the crash test of Bharat NCAP (Bharat New Car Assessment Programme). This rating has been received in both adult occupant protection and child occupant protection categories. New Tata Punch has once again proved its strong safety even in rigorous tests. It performed brilliantly in adult occupant protection, scoring 30.58 points out of 32, which is a very strong score for a 5-star rating. In the frontal offset deformable barrier test, it got 14.71 points out of 16. In the test, both the driver and co-driver got good head and neck protection. The driver's chest got adequate protection. Also, it has got 15.87 points out of 16 in the side movable deformable barrier test.
Safe for children with adults
It has also scored almost perfect in child occupant protection. Tata Punch facelift has scored 45 points out of 49 in child safety. Talking about dynamic score, it scored 24 points out of 24. At the same time, it was also given 12 out of 12 points in Child Restraint System (CRS) installation. In this way, this car has proved to be almost perfect for adults as well as children.
