Swift hybrid
Maruti's best -selling Swift hatchback and Brezza Subcont SUV will also be full of new series hybrid technology. The new generation will be hybrid in 2027, while the next generation Brezza will debut with Maruti Suzuki's new hybrid technology in 2029. Both models are likely to have better styling and interior.
How will Maruti's strong hybrid technology work?
The Indo-Japanese Automekar is developing a series hybrid setup that only works as a generator or range of Extender. The power generated from the hybrid system will directly give power to an electric motor that will run the wheels, making it a more simple configuration than the series-parel setup. Maruti's high-end SUV will be full of Toyota-Sound Strong Hybrid system. The car manufacturer will introduce its new hybrid system with Z12E, three-cylinder petrol engine that currently powers Swift. According to reports, the upcoming hybrid Maruti cars will give a mileage of more than 35 km per liter.
