Upcoming 7-Seater Cars in India: There is good news for the big family. Actually, 5 new 7-seater vehicles are ready to enter the Indian auto market in the coming days. The list of 7-seater vehicles ready for launch includes Volkswagen Tayron R-Line, MG Majestor, Nissan Gravite, Renault Duster based 7-seater and Nissan Tekton based 7-seater car. 1. Volkswagen Tayron R-Line
This flagship 7-seater SUV from Volkswagen is coming to India with local assembly and is the company's new top-of-the-line model. It is the bigger brother of the Tiguan R-Line, with the R-Line featuring premium elements like sporty styling, HD matrix headlamps, illuminated logo and 19-inch alloy wheels. The interior will have digital cockpit, advanced ADAS features, panoramic sunroof and high-quality materials.
The powertrain is a 2.0L TSI EVO turbo petrol engine, which comes with 4MOTION AWD system. Due to this, performance and handling will be excellent. The third row seats are comfortable for the family and the boot space can expand from 345 liters to 1905 litres. Pre-bookings have started at ₹51,000 and the launch is expected around March 2026. 2. MG Majestor
This new full-size SUV of MG is an upgraded version of Gloster and will be the new flagship model of the company. The design has a bold grille, modern LED lights and an intimidating look. The interior is premium, in which 6-seater (captain seats) and 7-seater options will be available. Features include advanced ADAS, large touchscreen, ventilated seats and luxury touches.
The powertrain will be a 2.0L twin-turbo diesel engine (215hp) and 8-speed AT with 4×2/4×4 options, which will increase off-road capability. It will challenge Toyota Fortuner Legender, Skoda Kodiaq and Volkswagen Tayron R-Line. Its estimated price is 40-50 lakhs. Pre-bookings have opened for ₹41,000.
3. Nissan Gravity
This sub-4 meter 7-seater BMPV from Nissan will be perfect for the budget family. Based on the Renault Triber platform, it has a distinct design, modular space and focus on comfort. With 7-seater layout, removable third row, good boot space and family-friendly features will be available.
The engine will have 1.0L petrol (manual/AMT) option, which will provide fuel efficiency. This will provide easy driving for both city and highway. The estimated price is between Rs 6-9 lakh. It will compete with models like Maruti Ertiga and Renault Triber and is a big step for Nissan to make a comeback in the market.
4. Renault Duster based 7-seater

1.3L turbo petrol (163hp) and hybrid option can be found in powertrain. The estimated price is in the range of 15-20 lakhs. This is an important model for Nissan, which will strengthen the company's product offensive after Gravitas. Will provide good value in the family SUV segment.
