Tires play the most important role in translating power on the road, but Pirelli wants them to do more and develop cyber tire techniques, which appoints real -time tire data to increase the dynamics of the vehicle. Developed in collaboration with Bosch engineering, these tires are excluded with sensors that track and send relevant data to the car. What is more that Aston Martin has agreed to cooperate with Pirelli to adopt this technique for his upcoming models.

Cyber tires rely on embedded sensors inside tires, which collect important data about how tires behave with the road. This information is processed in real time using Pirelli's ownership software and algorithms before the car is transmitted to the car's electronic control unit (ECU). The car will then use this data to adjust the parameters of dynamic systems such as ABS, ESP and traction control.
Inserting sensors in tires can be called 'non -bread', but Pirelli claims that the data enables the car and its electronic system to operate with better accuracy, offers increased stability, performance and safety. By enabled to respond more accurately to different road conditions and driver inputs, Pirelli says that the system will introduce new integrated features that take the vehicle performance one step forward.
Under collaboration, Aston Martin became the first car manufacturer to announce his plan to offer his plan to offer cyber tires on all future production models. However, British Markets are not the first to employ this technique: McLaren Artura did it in 2021, which is with limited functionality, while 2025 Pagani Utopia Roadster took it a step forward to tune its abs, traction and stability control in real time.

Pirelli Cyber Tire: Benefits and Future Impact

At the inscribed price, the immediate profit is very straightforward: these tires will play the role of TPM in the current-jewelery cars, the drivers will alert the conditions such as tire pressure problems, the level of fall and temperature threshold. At a deep level, data of these cyber tires can help customize car reactions, even to prevent accidents in some situations, such as hydroplaling or traction loss. In performing vehicles or race cars, the system may provide a level of data that was previously unattainable, allowing the driver (or crew) to make a well informed decision that maximizes the grip and accountability.
Pirelli is the first of its kind to actively communicate with the cyber tire vehicle, and if successful, can increase a new wave of 'intelligent tires' in the region. This technique is eventually expected to expand beyond mass-market vehicles beyond ultra-leaksry and high-demonstration cars, which supports a greater fuel economy, long-term tire lifetime and a wide set of drivers AIDS. Data collected from tires can also be fed back to manufacturers to help improve future tire design and calibration.
