Ather Energy has announced its latest operating system, Atstac 7 at its Community Day 2025 program in Bangalore, which marks its largest showcase of upcoming products, technologies and concepts. The new version of the brand's ownership software introduces a variety of features aimed at improving rider safety, convenience and connectivity in the brand's electric scooter portfolio. Ather says that the stack 7 will soon come to all e-scooters in its portfolio through OTA (over-the-air) update.

The latest update of Ather's software suit offers notifications of the natural voice command, proactive alert and pit operated by IMU sensor. Facilities such as crash alert, parksaff to-zone detection, and locksef theft detection have also been added to increase security. The owners can also stop charging from a distance through the app, while the facilities like cricket scores on the dashboard add to the comfort.
Athestac 7: Everything you should know
The new update enables the natural voice command, allowing the riders to interact with their scooters without only relying on manual inputs. Proactive alerts have also been added, providing real-time information for potential hazards and systems warnings, which reduces the chances of riders, which are missing important updates on the go.
One of the headline features is Pothol alert, operated by an onboard IMU system. When navigating, the riders will be informed of the pits that proceed through both dashboard and voice. Attrustac 7 further introduces crash alert, which indicates emergency contacts with live location details. Ather claims that the system can distinguish between modest and major accidents, and displays emergency contact number on the dashboard for passers -by to contact the rider's unconsciousness.
With the theft and forming a common concern for urban passengers, Ather is preparing a set of new security facilities. Parksaf uses a database of normal tow zone across the country to inform the riders if they are parking at high -risk locations. Locksafe supplies it with a stolen system that alerts the owner whether and when their vehicle is tampered with. The owners can then stabilize the scooter directly through the Ather Mobile App.

Infinite cruise
After introducing the magic twist, auto hold and traction control, Ather has launched an infinite cruise. It is a mixture of cruise control, hill control and crawl control. The Ather city wants to solve cruise control, where it is quite difficult to use as the rider is using a constant brake or changing the throttle input.
In simple words, the rider only requires the cruise control button and sets the speed. To increase speed, the rider can simply bend the throttle and then let go after reaching the desired figure. To reduce speed, rider may use brakes or apply negative throttle. Once the speed decreases, the cruise control will maintain the speed until the rider intervenes. It can go down at 10 km per hour and works surprisingly well in the real world. The infinite cruise will be available at 450 Apex, and it will be compatible with the 450 Apex scooter which were produced in 2025.
