India-Uk Free Trade Agreement: India-UK Free Trade Agreement will reduce the prices of luxury cars. Jaguar, Land Rover, Rolls-Royce, Bentley, Aston Martin and McLaren will benefit. Triumph bikes will also be cheaper.

Highlights

  • The Indo-UK Free Trade Agreement will make luxury cars cheaper.
  • The prices of Jaguar, Land Rover, Rolls-Royce, Bentley will decrease.
  • The prices of Triumph bikes will also be lower.
New Delhi. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is to sign the historic India-UK Free Trade Agreement in London, which aims to strengthen economic relations between the two countries and promote employment. The biggest advantage from this FTA will be to luxury car manufacturers like Jaguar, Land Rover, Rolls-Royce, Bentley, Aston Martin and McLaren. The skyrocketing prices of these vehicles will fall as India will reduce import duty from 100% to 10%.

Luxury car buyers ban booking
During this time many luxury car buyers have banned booking. Dealerships are disappointed because it is still not clear when and how these new low fees will apply. There are almost all major luxury brands available in the Indian automobile market, including Jaguar and Land Rover, McLaren, Bentley and Rolls-Royce owned by Tata Motors. Famous sports car manufacturer McLaren made his debut in India in 2022 and introduced his entire portfolio. Imagine buying McLaren 750s worth Rs 5.91 crore for less than Rs 3 crore.

6 crore car in 3 crore

Under the new FTA, many Indian car lovers can now stop dreaming and the plan to buy ultra-lolutions SUVs like Bentley Bentayga and Rolls-Royce Culinan is now more realistic, with the current price of Rs 6 crore and Rs 12 crore respectively, which is about Rs 3 crore and Rs 6 crore respectively. FTA will also introduce a quota system that will be confined that tax cuts will be limited to some vehicles, and it will be different for petrol-diesel electric vehicles.

Triumph bikes will also be cheap
Triumph Motorcycles have been in India for a long time, and its premium range is made in the UK. Due to being imported as CBU (fully built units), the iconic motorcycles like Rockt 3 Storm and Adv, Tiger 1200 are priced at Rs 22.49 lakh and Rs 19.39 lakh respectively. There is good news for motorcycle lovers, as FTA will also reduce these high prices.

Rolls Royce, Jaguar Land Rover, McLaren! Luxury cars can be cheaper up to Rs 90 lakh

New Delhi. It is going to be very easy for Indian customers to buy luxury cars priced worth crores like Rolls Royce, Jaguar Land Rover, McLaren and Bentley cheaply. Their price can be so low that you can easily survive up to one or two lakh rupees, but up to crores of rupees. The recent free trade agreement between India and Britain has been done, which will make it very easy to import cars in Britain to India and important duty on them will be reduced considerably than before. In such a situation, you will be able to buy these cars at a very low price.

Effect of FTA
Under the FTA, customs (import duty) on cars being imported from Britain to India will be drastically cut, which will reduce the prices of these cars. Currently, up to 100% import duty is imposed on luxury cars imported from Britain, but after FTA it can be reduced to 10%. Accordingly, import duty will be reduced by 90 %.

Jaguar Land Rover (JLR)

JLR cars, such as range rover and defender, will also have a direct impact, after the import duty decreases by 90 %, the price of JLR cars is going to be a big impact. Which will reduce their prices.

Local assembly
JLR is also planning to assembling a local of some of its models in India, which can reduce prices further. According to an estimate, if the JLR starts assembled by the defender, then its price may decrease by up to 20%. Apart from this, a similar effect is expected to have a similar effect on the price of other luxury cars like Rolls Royce.

Low burden on buyers' pockets
Due to FTA, Indian customers will now be able to buy these luxury cars close to global prices, which will cost less on their pockets. On some models, such as Defender, FTA made in Slovakia will not have a direct impact, but starting the local assembly of JLR can reduce prices.

It will be positioned below the Grand Vitara, which is sold through the Nexa channel, such as Maruti Ertiga and XL6 MPVs.

Value for Money
The codename of this new Maruti SUV is Y17 and will be positioned above the Brezza but under the Grand Vitara. It will be a flagship model for Maruti Arena dealers who have not received any new high-end product since the launch of Ertiga and Brezza. Being an Arenna offering, sources say that this SUV will have more value for more than its competition.

Maruti Escudo Launch Details

1.5-liter engine
Although there is no clarity about Paurtrain, we hope that the new Maruti Midsize SUV will have the same 1.5-liter engines-103hp Naturally Aspirated Petrol, 88HP CNG, and 116HP hybrid. Manual and automatic gearbox options can also be taken from Grand Vitara.

Export will also be done abroad

Significantly, Maruti had a trademark named Escudo in India last year. Suzuki uses the name Escudo for the Vitara SUV in Japan. If it is kept for the Indian market, Escudo will be one of the two SUVs to be launched in Maruti in 2025, the other will be All-Electric E Vitara.

New Delhi. Tesla has been on the Internet for the last few months, but the American EV veteran trended the most when he officially stepped into India last week. Alan Musk's Tesla opened his first showroom in the country a few days ago at Mumbai's Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC). Another big reason for Tesla trending on Google is that Tesla launched its first product model Y in India. The booking of this electric crossover started at the time of launch, while the delivery is expected to start from September. Let's see Tesla model Y's top 5 highlights, due to which it kept trending on Google for a long time.

Interior
The model Y has Tesla's signature minimalist interior, with a 15.4 -inch central touchscreen and an 8 -inch rear display. This includes heated and ventilated front seats, power folding and heated rear seats, ambient lighting, panoramic glass roof and 9-speaker audio system. Facilities like Dog Mode, Tesla Arcade and Centre Mode have also come to India for the first time.

Two variants of model y

Tesla has introduced two variants of model Y in India: Long Range Rear-Sheel Drive (RWD) and Long Range All-wheel drive (AWD). The RWD variant gives a range of 574 km (EPA) and can catch a speed of 0 to 100 kmph in 5.4 seconds. The long range AWD model, which has dual motors, offers a range of 527 km and can catch a speed of 0 to 100 kmph in 4.6 seconds. The top speed of both variants is 201 km per hour.

Planning of supercharger station
Tesla has confirmed the installation of supercharger stations in major cities like Mumbai and Delhi. At the launch of model Y, Tesla reported that this electric crossover supports the range of 238 km (standard range) in 15 minutes and 267 km in 15 minutes (long range) in 15 minutes, which shows its rapid charging capacity.

Full self -driving option

The surprising thing is that Tesla is also offering its famous full self-driving (FSD) with the India-Spak Model Y. This feature is available as an optional accessory with a premium of Rs 6 lakh. Although the FSD is not yet fully capable due to India's infrastructure, the car includes autopylot features such as autopark, smart summons, traffic lights and stop sign controls, which will continue to get OTA software updates in the future.

Double price from america
The price of model Y in India is almost double the US price of about $ 37,490, due to heavy import duty (~ 70%) and luxury tax (~ 30%). For this reason, its price has reached Rs 59.89 lakh and 67.80 lakh rupees (both ex-showrooms). Because of this, Natisons have named it “Tax-La” on the Internet. Tesla will compete with luxury car brands like BMW, Volvo and Mercedes-Benz.
