Updates of Mahindra XUV700, Thar and Scorpio N are coming soon. The XUV700 facelift will get new designs, triple screens and features. Hyundai, Kia, Reno, Nissan will also bring new SUVs.

Competition with these cars
Currently, its major rivals are Tata Safari, MG Hector Plus and Hyundai Alkazar. Over the next few years, the premiums of four new SUVs XUV700 of Hyundai, Kia, Reno and Nissan will challenge the three-round SUV segment. Spy image shows that the updated XUV700 will take some design elements from XEV 9E Electric SUVs. At the front, it will have a new grill with more tilted vertical slots, redesigned LED headlamps, new signature LED DRL and modified lower section. A slight change in the side and rear profiles is expected.
Inside, the 2026 Mahindra XUV700 facelift will get a triple screen setup taken from XEV 9E. The SUV can have many new features with the Harmon/Cardon Sound System. 200ps, 2.0L turbo petrol and 155ps, 2.0L diesel engines will remain without any change. Hyundai and Kia have planned a new 7-seater SUV for India, which are coming in 2027. Interestingly, both SUVs will have a new strong hybrid powertrain. Hyundai and Kaya are expected to electrifies their tried 1.5L natural aspirated petrol engine.
Hyundai ni1i
Kodename, Hyundai NI1I 7-seater SUV will sit between Alkazar and Tuxon SUV in the company's product lineup. It will be produced in Hyundai's Talegaon facility. Kia's new 7-seater SUV (Kodename MQ4i) will be based on the SORETO SUV sold globally, and will take many designs and features. Similarly, Reno and Nissan are ready to introduce the Mahindra XUV700 rival SUVs in the end of 2026 or 2027. Reno's 7-seater SUV will be based on the third generation duster, which has recently made a global debut as Reno Borel. Nissan will introduce his re-busy version boral, but, with a different design language.
