New Delhi. Mahindra & Mahindra is preparing to introduce its third electric SUV, Mahindra XEV 9S. This model will be based on the INGLO skateboard platform. Its global debut will be on 27 November 2025 and after that it will be launched in the market in early 2026.
Production version of XEV 7e
The XEV 9S is believed to be the production version of the XEV 7e, which will share many design elements from the XEV 9e and XUV700. Official product details will be revealed in the coming weeks, but here are the big things about Mahindra's upcoming 7-seater electric SUV.
Mixture of XEV 9e and XUV700
The leaked images suggest that the Mahindra XEV 9S will have a closed grille and triangle-shaped headlamp housing, similar to what we have seen on the XEV 9e. However, the inverted L-shaped DRL setup and front bumper will be slightly different from its 5-seater sibling. Its overall silhouette and stance will be similar to the ICE-powered XUV700, while the EV will feature newly designed aero-optimized alloy wheels.
