New Delhi. Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) reported 29,302 units of domestic sales in August 2025, which shows an annual growth of 2.49% compared to 28,589 units sold in August 2024. Based on the year on year, sales increased by 0.49%, which is slightly more than 29,159 units sold in July 2025. The company exported 4,934 units last month.

January to August sale
Between January and August 2025, TKM sold a total of 2,41,696 units, which is a solid growth of 13.59% compared to 2,12,785 units sold in the same period of 2024. These figures reflect Toyota's stable growth in India's competitive automotive market.

Make in India

The main things of August 2025 were the month of August for Toyota, both corporate and product on the fronts in India. On the corporate side, the company renewed its wideze rate agreement with Kamarajar Port Limited (KPL), which strengthened its make-in-India commitment and also boosted exports.
