New Delhi. Nissan Motor India has announced an increase in prices of all its models by up to 3 percent, which will be effective from January 1, 2026. This increase will vary according to different variants and specifications. Nissan Magnite – Impact of price change Currently, the Magnite is Nissan's only offering in India. The price of this compact SUV ranges between Rs 5.61 lakh to Rs 10.75 lakh (ex-showroom). The entry-level Magnite VISIA MT, which is priced at Rs 5,61,643, may see an increase of around Rs 15-17 thousand, taking its price to around Rs 5.78 lakh (ex-showroom).
The top-spec Magnite TEKNA+ Turbo CVT Dual Tone, which is currently priced at Rs 10,90,357, may see an increase of around Rs 30-32 thousand, taking its price to around Rs 11.10 lakh (ex-showroom). This increase comes at a time when Nissan had cut the prices of Magnite in early 2025, passing on the GST benefits to customers and reducing the prices by about Rs 1 lakh across different variants.
Portfolio expansion plan
Three new models by 2027 Along with the price change, Nissan has reiterated plans to expand its portfolio in India in a big way. The company is preparing to launch three new models by the beginning of 2027, which will bring a big change in its current single-product strategy.
Launch in 2026
The launch will begin in 2026, with the B-segment compact MPV 'Gravite' expected to hit dealerships first by March 2026. The Gravite will be the badge-engineered sibling of the Renault Triber, which will get a new exterior styling and a changed interior color scheme. It will have a 1.0-litre petrol engine, which will be offered with manual and AMT gearbox options.

After Gravite, Nissan will launch a mid-size SUV named 'Tekton', which will establish the brand in the most competitive segment in India. Tekton will compete with Tata Sierra, Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Maruti Grand Vitara, Toyota Hyrider, Honda Elevate, Skoda Kushaq, Volkswagen Taigun, MG Astor, Tata Curvv and other models.
The third model will be a seven-seater SUV, which will be launched in 2027. Not much information has been revealed about this product at present. With these launches, Nissan is preparing to expand its presence in four different segments in India. The company is also planning to strengthen its dealership and service network to support the upcoming new products and further improve the brand identity.
