New Delhi. Renault India has announced to increase the prices of all its vehicles by up to 2 percent from January 2026. The company said that this increase will vary on different models and variants. The company has cited increase in input costs and ongoing macroeconomic challenges in the automobile sector as the reasons behind increasing the price. Renault India has said in its official statement that it is focusing on maintaining competitive prices along with providing better products and services to Indian customers. The company also said that customers who are planning to buy the car can buy the car at the current prices by the end of December 2025.

This announcement comes at a time when many automobile companies in India like Mercedes-Benz, JSW MG Motor India, Nissan, BMW Motorrad and others have also announced price increases ahead of the New Year due to inflation, supply chain costs and regulatory changes.
3 models of the company in India
Renault India is a wholly owned subsidiary of France's Renault Group and is present in the Indian market with three models – Kwid, Triber and Kiger. The company's focus is on affordable, practical and value-oriented features, which are designed according to the needs of different customer segments.
Renault Kwid
Renault Kwid is the company's entry-level vehicle, whose ex-showroom price starts from around Rs 4.30 lakh. It has features like SUV-like styling, high ground clearance of 184 mm, digital instrument cluster and 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system. Kwid has the option of 0.8-litre or 1.0-litre petrol engine.

Above the Kwid is the Renault Triber, which falls in the multi-purpose vehicle category and its price starts at Rs 5.76 lakh. Triber is known for its modular seating, which provides flexibility and practicality to families. New features and safety equipment have been added to it in 2025.

Completing the lineup is the Renault Kiger, which is a compact SUV and its price also starts at Rs 5.76 lakh. Kiger falls in the rapidly growing sub-four meter SUV segment and is available in naturally aspirated and turbo-petrol engine options. New features and cosmetic updates have also been made in it in 2025. Renault also offers government approved CNG retrofitment kits across all its models to cater to the growing interest in alternative fuel options. The company backs its product portfolio with extended warranty and after-sales service across the country.
