Simple tax structure
GST 2.0 improvement has simplified tax structure for automobiles, with the removal of the earlier 28% GST plus cess and a similar 40% GST slab has been implemented for luxury and big cars. Its result happened, Audi India has updated its ex-showroom prices, which aims to increase the demand in the festive season.
Audi A6 – A reduced from Rs 67.38 lakh to Rs 63.74 lakh, which will save Rs 3.64 lakh.
Audi Q5 – Now, starting from Rs 63.75 lakh, compared to the earlier 68.30 lakh rupees, you will get a profit of Rs 4.55 lakh.
Audi Q8 – The flagship SUV has got the biggest benefit, which has been reduced from Rs 1.17 crore to Rs 1.09 crore, which has reduced by Rs 7.83 lakh.
Festival Time is one of the most important stages for car manufacturers in India, and a decrease in prices with GST 2.0 has made luxury cars more attractive. Apart from this, updated prices have come at a time when competition in the luxury car market is increasing, in which Mercedes-Benz and BMW are also offering GST benefits.
