Maruti Suzuki will launch the new midsize SUV on 3 September, which will compete with Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos. Electric e -vitara exports will start from 26 August 2025.

In the Midsize SUV segment, the new Maruti SUV will compete with Hyundai Creta, Kiya Sailtos, Honda Elevite, Skoda Kushak, Foxwagen Tigun and Toyota Hyurider. In the company's product lineup, it will be located between Brezza and Grand Vitara. While the official announcement of prices will be made next week, its potential price can be about Rs 10 lakh – 10.50 lakh for the base variant and about Rs 16 lakh – 17 lakh for the top trim.
Like the platform and engine Grand Vitara, the new Maruti Arena SUV will be built on the modular global C platform, and will have 3 engine options – 103bhp, 1.5L mild hybrid, 116bhp strong hybrid and 88bhp 1.5L CNG. Both manual and gearbox options will be available. According to media reports, this will be the first Maruti Suzuki with an underbody-mounted CNG kit, which will save boot space. Toyota can also present a rebelted version of this Arena-Exclusive SUV.

Design and features are expected to be shared with the design element and features of the new Maruti SUV. According to reports, this will be the first Maruti Suzuki in India with Level-2 ADAS suit and Dolby Atmos feature. Other features may include a 9-inch infotainment system, wireless Android auto and Apple CarPlay, Ambient Lighting, Wireless Phone Charger, Automatic AC.
