The second generation of Volkswagen T-Rocke will debut at the 2025 Munich Motor Show, available in Global Markets in 2026 with hybrid powertrain and new design.

New Delhi. The second generation Foxwagen T-Rock SUV has been teased before the official debut at the Munich Motor Show, which will be held in Germany from 9 to 14 September 2025. In global markets, it will be available for sale in the second half of 5-door, 5-seater SUVs 2026 and will compete with cars such as Toyota Corolla Cross, Nissan Kasai, Hyundai Kona and Toyota C-HR. The specialty of 2026 Foxwagen T-Rock is that it will be the first model of the brand with strong hybrid powertrain.

Foxwagen Hybrid SUV – What to expect?
Details of Hybrid Povertrain have not yet been revealed. However, it is expected that it will act like Toyota's Atkinson Cycle Petrol-Hybrid System. This means that Foxwagen's hybrid powertrain will mix petrol engine and electric motor to run wheels. There is speculation that the new Foxwagen Hybrid SUV may have a 1.5L, 4-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine that will generate 201bhp-268bhp of power and 350NM-400NM torque.

Engine and power

Globally available engine options are available in selected global markets, current generation Foxwagen T-Rock 1.4L, 4-cylinder turbo petrol and 2.0L, 4-cylinder turbo petrol engine options are available. While the first engine generates 147bhp maximum power and 250Nm torque, the second engine gives 188bhp power and 320Nm torque. The flagship R variant has 296bhp, 2.0L turbocharged petrol engine.

Design and feature upgrade
2026 Foxwagen Tea-lock design and feature upgrade The new T-Rock is likely to get a new hybrid powertrain with broad design changes and feature upgrade. According to the leaked photos, the SUV will have a large hexagon-shaped grill under the headlamps, which will have black central part and body-caller elements at both corners. The headlamps will be already thin and will be connected by a thin LED light bar, which will have a signature logo in the center. Front and rear overhangs will appear longer, while the crease will be more visible on the front fender. Other designs highlights will include new tail lamps and a little new rear bumper.
