Just wait a little! Mahindra Thar 3 Door coming in a new avatar, know what will be new

New Delhi. Mahindra launched a new chapter in her passenger vehicle (PV) industry when she launched the Second Jane Thar in late 2020. The car was more developed and powerful than its appearances, yet the fundamental strength of a ladder-on-frame off-roading SUV remained in it. Thar has been on the streets for almost five years and so far it has not received a single facelift update, but, now this situation is going to change. Come, learn in details.

Testing starts
Mahindra is preparing to launch the Thar facelift in the near future. In the last few years, on several occasions, the Test Mules of the updated 3-door Thar have been seen. Now, a production-model has been captured in camera, which is reaching a dealership yard, which shows that the launch in the market is close.

Styling updates can be seen in the YouTube video posted by Shivuz Garage, taking out a production-spec Mahindra Thar out of a trailer and parking in a dealership yard. In the video, there is a wrapping on the new 3-door Thar front grille that points to some updates in this part. Originally, the Thar 3-Dore facelift will come with an updated grille that will have vertical slats, which are similar in its 5-door cybuling Thar Rocks.

How is the look?
At the back, it has a rear wiper and washer. We also see five alloy wheels that include mounted spare wheels on the tailgate, which was converted into a steel unit some time ago. Apart from this, there was no visible change in the latest image.

Inside the cabin, some very important updates are found in the facelifted 3-door Thar. It has a new steering wheel and a free-standing 10.2-inch infotainment screen, which has been shared with Thar Rocks. The touchscreen infotainment system is more advanced and easy than the current unit.

Mechani, facelifted Mahindra Thar will probably be unchanged. Therefore, it will continue to give three engine options: 1.5-liter MHAWK Diesel (117 bhp and 300 Nm), 2.0-liter Mstallion turbocharged petrol (150 bhp and 300–320 nm), and 2.2-liter MHAWK Diesel (130 BHP and 300 Nm).
