In 2026, Mahindra XUV700 and Thar will get large midlife updates, with new design, triple screen setup, premium features and existing engine options will be intact.

The official details of the 2026 Mahindra XUV700 updated Mahindra XUV700 will come close to its launch, but Spie images and videos have already given some information about its styling changes and feature upgrade. The design of the SUV will be inspired by Inglo-based XEV 9e Born Electric SUV, including new front grille, new signature LED DRL, new twin-pod LED headlamps and new lower sections.
The 2025 Mahindra XUV700 facelift will have a triple screen setup similar to the Main attraction XEV 9E. It can also have a newly designed dashboard, premium audio system and wireless Apple carplay and Android auto connectivity. The updated XUV700 2.0L turbo will be powered by petrol and 2.0L diesel engines, which will generate a maximum power of 360nm with 380Nm and 155PS with 200ps respectively. 2026 Mahindra Thar Mahindra Thar facelift has been launched. Earlier it was expected to come in the end of September 2025, but now it is likely to come around Diwali and a few months later.
Thar Rocks
The SUV will borrow several design elements and features from its 5-door cybbing Thar Rocks. The 2026 Mahindra Thar facelift will include an updated digital instrument cluster, large touchscreen infotainment system that will run on the latest UI and include a new electric steering wheel. Features such as Ambient lighting, wireless phone charger, ventilated front seats, 360-degree camera, rear disc brakes and level 2 ADAS suits can also be taken from Thar Rocks. For power, updated Thar 152bhp, 2.0L turbo petrol, 119bhp, 1.5L diesel and 130bhp, 2.2L will continue using diesel engines. The SUV will come with both RWD and 4WD systems.
