Power and performance
The main attraction of Skoda Octavia RS is its powertrain. The fourth generation model has a 2.0L turbo petrol engine, which generates maximum power of 265bhp and torque of 370Nm. This is the same engine that gives power to Foxwagen Golf GTI. The responsibility of transmission will be played by 7-speed DCT automatic gearbox. It will have FWD (front-wheel drive) system and electronically controlled limited-slip differential on front axle.
This performance sedan gets a speed of 0 to 100kmph in just 6.4 seconds and its top speed is 250kmph. Its braking system includes 340 x 30mm front and 310 x 22mm rear ventilated disk brakes. Unlike the Global-Spec model, which has a dynamic chassis control (DCC) adaptive suspension system, this feature will not be in the India-Spec version.

Premium cabin new Skoda Octavia RS has several premium features, including 13-inch touchscreen systems, which come with wireless Android auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity and satellite navigation. This includes 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, sports seats, red stitching and carbon decks, aluminum pedals, flat-boy RS steering wheels, tri-zone climate control, heated front and rear seats, panoramic sunroof (optional) and other features.
