Mercedes made a new sales record in the festive season, sold luxury cars at a rapid rate

New Delhi. Mercedes-Benz India recorded its highest ever monthly sales in September 2025, with a strong annual growth of 36% compared to September 2024. This excellent performance has mainly come after the GST 2.0 reform. The brand sold more than 2,500 units during the 9-day Navratri period, which is the highest festive sale in its history in India.

Mercedes India Q3 2025 Sales For Q3 2025, Mercedes-Benz India achieved sales of 5,119 units, almost identical to the 5,117 units sold in Q3 2024, registering a marginal YoY growth of 0.04%. Although quarterly growth remained stable, the figure marks the company's best-ever Q3 performance, supported by strong sales in its core luxury and top-end luxury segments.

Core Luxury Portfolio
This includes models like E-Class LWB, GLC and GLE, which recorded a growth of 10% in Q3. The E-Class LWB remained India's best-selling luxury sedan, registering 47% annual growth for the quarter. In the top-end luxury segment, models like the GLS, Maybach, S-Class and AMG G63 continued to drive demand, generating 12% YoY growth and accounting for 25% of total sales.

Mercedes-Benz EV Lineup
Mercedes-Benz's electric vehicle (BEV) lineup also performed strongly, making up 8% of total Q3 sales and registering 10% year-over-year growth, led by the EQS SUV. The brand's collective sales for April-September 2025 stood at 9,357 units.

Strong sales expected in future also
It is expected that the same market sentiments will continue in the upcoming festive season, which includes the upcoming festivals like Dhanteras and Diwali, the entire portfolio of the company remains in good demand in the market. The company's portfolio includes cars like long wheelbase E-Class, GLC, GLE, GLS and G63 AMG SUVs. With these sale numbers the company has registered its highest sales ever. The company sold 2 units more than last year and set a new record.
