JSW MG Motor India recorded 52 percent yoy growth in August 2025 by selling 6,578 units. Sales increased due to demand for Mg Windsor Ev Pro and Mg ComeT EV.
Dealership network expansion
To further improve the expansion of the dealership network, JSW MG Motor India inaugurated three new dealerships in August 2025. The company now has more than 543 sales in 270 cities and aftercracles touchpoints. In addition, MG has strategically set up service centers within a radius of 15 km, which can help customers in most areas of India in just 30 minutes.
The MG Windsor EV has a 38kwh LFP battery and 136bhp electric motor, which gives a range of 331km. It has four driving modes – Eco+, Eco, Normal and Sport. In May 2025, the car manufacturer introduced the Windsor Ev Pro with a large 52.9kwh LFP battery pack, promising the ARAI-rated 449km range. The new pro variants enhanced the sales significantly, including V2V (Vehicle to Vehicle) and V2L (Vehicle to Load) functionality, a level 2 adas security suit and premium features like a powered tailgate.
Mg COMET EV – Specifications and Features
The Mg COMET EV is available with 17.3kwh battery pack, which offers 230km ARAI-approved range. It has a single electric motor that generates 42bhp power and 110Nm torque. Power is transported to rear wheels through automatic transmission. The EV has a 3.3kw onboard charger which takes it 7 hours to charge 100 percent.
