Maruti Suzuki will launch four new SUVs and the first electric e Vitara in the SUV market in December 2025. The three-row version of Grand Vitara will also compete with Mahindra XUV700 and Tata Safari.
The popularity of SUV vehicles is continuously increasing in the Indian automobile market and considering this trend, Maruti Suzuki is preparing to launch new SUV vehicles in the market. The company has decided to increase its utility vehicle lineup. Maruti is working on four new SUV vehicles to strengthen its hold in the SUV segment.

Maruti Suzuki is going to make a big entry in the EV segment with its first electric car e Vitara. The company is going to launch it in December 2025.

The SUV will be equipped with premium features, which include a large touchscreen infotainment system, panoramic sunroof and fully digital driver display.

According to reports, Maruti Suzuki is considering bringing a three-row version of the Grand Vitara. This vehicle will compete with vehicles like Mahindra XUV700 and Tata Safari.

If this project gets the green signal, then this extended Grand Vitara can be launched within the next two years.

Maruti is also working on a micro SUV. Its biggest feature could be Maruti's next-generation in-house hybrid powertrain, which is expected to deliver fuel efficiency of more than 35 km/litre.

Franxx is one of the most popular vehicles of Maruti Suzuki. It is being told that the company is also working on bringing its hybrid version.

It may use a version of the smart hybrid system found in the exported Dzire model. More features like Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) can also be found in it.
