New Delhi. Foxwagen entered the midsize SUV segment in 2021 by launching Taigun based on MQB A0-in platform under its India 2.0 project. This compact SUV has been appreciated for its practical and compact design, premium brand appeal and safety. After about 4 years, Foxwagen Taigun is going to get its first midlife update in early 2026.

The leaked spy images have hidden details related to its design, but 2026 Foxwagen Taigun is expected to have a new front and rear bumper as well as a slightly redesigned headlamps and tail lamps. However, there is no possibility of any change in the sheet metal.

New Folkswagen Taigun 2026 – Features

Foxwagen can equip the new Taigun with ADAS (Autonomous Driver Assistance System) suit and 360-degree camera. The SUV can also get a new cabin theme with new upholstery and trims. Other features will be taken from the current model, including:

  • Engine and power
    The 2026 Foxwagen Taigun facelift is expected to maintain the current 1.0L turbo petrol and 1.5L turbo petrol with manual and automatic gearbox. It is rumored that the current 6-speed torque converter automatic gearbox, which is available with only 1.0L petrol engine, can be replaced with the new 8-speed unit. The 1.0L TSI engine gives 115bhp of power and 178Nm torque, while large capacity TSI motor gives 150bhp power and 250Nm torque.
