New Delhi. After the Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (Giias), a Japanese automaker has launched its new 7-seater. Mitsubishi Destinator launched in this event was first introduced in 2024. Its tremendous look makes it stand in a category of popular cars like Fortuner. Mitsubishi's goal is Asean markets like South Asia, Latin America, Middle East and Africa, but will it come to India? To be sold in the ASEAN region, Mitsubishi has launched its new 7-seater model in the ongoing Giias. In Indonesia, the price of this model is up to RM 121K (about Rs 24.64 lakh in Indian currency). This 7-seater is available in three different trims. While this model will first be available for sale in Indonesia, how much is it likely to come to India? And what are the features in this new model?

Size and design
Talking about the size, the length of the destinator is 4,680mm and its wheelbase is 2,815mm. Its competition will be Honda CR-V in the international market. Talking about its design, the design of Destinator is inspired by its cybbing mitsubishi xforce model which is available in global markets. The new 7-seater has an acrylic grill with vertical slats in the upper and bottom row with honeycomb patterns, connected to the grill stacked headlamps, the front is T-shaped DRLs.

Will be launched in India?
The list of all the features inside includes 8-inch digital instrument cluster, 12.3-inch infotainment touchscreen, dual-zone automatic climate control, electronic parking brakes, synthetic lady's seat upholstery, Android Auto and Apple Carplay, Penomic Sanarous, 64-Kaller Carplay Lighting, 6-speakers sound system, adas, adaptive cruise control, powered tailgate and more. Now, let's discuss the most interesting thing here. Currently, Mitsubishi has not announced anything about launching this model in India. It can be said that it is difficult to expect this Japanese 7-seater to enter India.
