After opening the showroom on Tuesday at Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC) in Mumbai, Tesla, led by Allen Musk, is planning to open the showroom soon in Delhi.
Tesla said that electric vehicles are only one part of the company's big mission. The real goal of the company is to create a sustainable ecosystem.
In Mumbai, Tesla has announced to build four major charging stations in major areas like Lower Parel, BKC, Navi Mumbai and Thane. It will have 16 supercharges and 16 destination charger.
In its official statement, Tesla said that the company has prepared a complete ecosystem around electric vehicles in India and has prepared a big blueprint for development.
The company already operates more than 7,000 supercharging stations with more than 70,000 supercharges worldwide.
Giving a big boost to India's employment market, Tesla has confirmed that it will be completely dependent on the local talent.
