The rival of Honda City, Skoda Slavia and Volkswagen Virtus ranges from Rs 11.07 lakh to Rs 17.58 lakhs and is operated by 115hp 1.5-liter petrol or 160hp 1.5-liter turbo-petrol engine. Manual and automatic gearbox are available with both engines.

The Hyundai exter has a 1.2-liter petrol and CNG powder options in the same NIOS, and it competes with Tata punch and Nissan Magnite and Renault Kiger's natural aspirated variants. The price of the exter ranges from Rs 6 lakh to Rs 10.51 lakh.
