New Delhi. Hero MotoCorp has finally launched the country's most feature-pack 125cc motorcycle, Glamor X. The new hero Glamor X will be available in two variants: Drums and discs, which are priced at Rs 89,999 and Rs 99,999 respectively (both ex-showrooms). This bike has been launched with cruise control and with this price range it becomes a bike with the cheapest cruise control feature of India.

Hero Glamor X
Although the updated design is similar to the current glamor range in glamor X appearance, some fine changes have been made in it. For example, due to the extended tank shrouds in the new glamor X, it feels a little more muscular, in which the new name of the bike is Protnd. This variant has more cuts and crease than glamor and extech versions, which makes it look more aggressive.

5 color options

The new bike has a long wizzer at the front. H-shape's LED element on headlamps and taillamps has been taken from several recent launch of Hero. It is available in a total of 5 color options. The drum variant is available in matte magnetic silver and candy blazing red shades, while the disc variant is available in metallic nexus blue, black teal blue and black pearl red paint schemes.

Hero Glamor X: New Features
Glamor X has more features than other models of this range, the most prominent cruise control. It is available in the top-spec disc trim, making Hero Glamor X India's cheapest motorcycle with a cruise control feature, which defeats bikes such as TVS Apache RR 310 and KTM 390 Duke. In addition to cruise control, Glamor X has a new LCD digital instrument cluster that provides Bluetooth connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation, distance-to-mpti, gear position indicator and ambient light sensor. Apart from this, it also has a new switchgear, which now includes a cruise control button with hazard switch functionality. In the case of safety, it has a panic brake alert for the first time in the segment that flashs indicators when applying a sudden brake.

Hero Glamor X: Paurtrain
Glamor X has the same 124.7cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine that is seen in other glamor models, but now it generates 11.4 bhp and 10.6 Nm peak torque. This motor has been paired with a 5-speed gearbox. The cam profile of this engine has been tuned again to give a slightly better output. In addition, the gear ratio has been optimized for sharp throttle response.
