New Delhi. The Suzuki Franxx was recently tested under ASEAN NCAP (New Car Assessment Programme) and got a 5 star safety rating with 77.70 points. This model was manufactured at the Chikarang factory in Indonesia and is also sold in markets like Laos, Cambodia, Philippines, Malaysia, Vietnam and Thailand. Weighing 1060 kg, this front has a 1.5 liter petrol engine and 6-speed automatic gearbox.
Adult Occupant Safety Rating
In adult passenger safety, Suzuki Franks scored 29.37 points out of 32. In the offset deformable barrier test, this model scored 13.74 out of 16 in the crash test against a static barrier. In side impact, it scored 7.63 out of 8. It also got 8 out of 8 marks in the threat detection test.

In child safety, France scored 38.94 out of 51. It scored 9.94 out of 16 in the frontal impact test. It got full marks (8 out of 8 and 12 out of 12) in side impact test and installation. The compact crossover also achieved 5 star ratings in Safety Assist and Motorcyclist Safety, with a total score of 16.50 out of 21 and 8 out of 16 respectively.

All variants of the Indonesia-spec Suzuki Frontx come standard with 6 airbags, electronic stability control (ESC), anti-lock braking system (ABS), seatbelt reminder system (SBR) for frontal and rear seat passengers, pedestrian protection (PP) and ISOFIX for child seats.
