New Delhi. Mini India has introduced a fully electric all-wheel-drive variant of its flagship crossover, the Countryman SE ALL4, in the Indian market. The model comes as a Completely Built Unit (CBU) and is now available for booking at Mini dealerships, with deliveries commencing immediately. Its price is Rs 66,90,000 (ex-showroom).

In terms of design, the Countryman SE ALL4 is available in two exterior colours: Legend Gray and Midnight Black, both paired with a jet black roof and mirror caps. It comes with a John Cooper Works (JCW) trim as standard, which enhances its sporty appeal through redesigned front and rear bumpers, side skirts, rear spoiler and piano black detailing. The SUV rides on 19-inch JCW Runway Spoke black alloy wheels, further emphasizing its athletic stance.

Mini's new minimalist design philosophy has been adopted in the interior. The cabin features a JCW black dashboard with JCW sports seats in Vesin and Cord coordination finished in knit fabric. The car runs on Mini Operating System 9 and supports the brand's intelligent personal assistant with touch and voice input. Like the XEV 9e and BE 6, this new Mahindra 7-seater electric SUV will also be based on the INGLO Skateboard platform. It will be placed against the BYD Atto 3 and Tata Harrier EV, and its base variant is expected to be priced around Rs 21 lakh. The range of the new XEV 9S is expected to be more than 500km per charge.

New Delhi. Tesla has quietly upgraded the India-spec Model Y Long Range RWD, increasing its WLTP-approved range by 39 km to 661 km. This change is reportedly due to the larger 84.2kWh battery pack, up from the previous 78.1kWh unit, while the base standard RWD variant's 64kWh battery and claimed range of 500km remain unchanged.

Since its launch in India in July 2025, Tesla has offered the Model Y in two trims – Standard RWD and Long Range RWD. The Long Range variant, designed for drivers seeking maximum range and performance, now comes with an upgraded 84.2kWh battery, giving it a range of 661 km on a single charge as per WLTP standards. Despite the increase in battery capacity, the rear-axle-mounted electric motor remains the same, helping it accelerate from 0-100 kmph in just 5.6 seconds.

No change in standard trim
The standard RWD trim, which is aimed at entry-level EV buyers, still comes with its 64kWh battery with a WLTP range of 500 km, accelerating to 100 kmph in 5.9 seconds.
