This 5-star rating is important in the Indian EV market, as it brings safety levels at par with local models like Tata Nexon EV, Mahindra XUV400. Vinfast is adopting an aggressive strategy in India with an investment of $2 billion and this certification will increase customer confidence. Especially in cities like Delhi-NCR, where traffic is dense and safety is a priority, such vehicles can become popular.
