The company has completed the production of its 15 millionth NEV (New Energy Vehicle), which is the BYD Denza N8L SUV, at its Jinan factory in China. It is a full-size, 6-seat premium SUV, which is known for its excellent safety performance.
Tremendous sales performance
BYD's sales performance remained strong in 2025. Between January and November, the company sold a total of 41.82 lakh units, which is an increase of 11.3% year-on-year. Overseas markets have played an important role in growth. BYD's overseas sales reached 9.17 lakh units, which is more than the total overseas sales in 2024. Currently, BYD's NEV products are available in more than 119 countries and six continents.

Technological innovation is the foundation of BYD's development. The company's R&D expenditure in the first three quarters of 2025 reached 43.75 billion yuan, an increase of 31% year-on-year.
