Huawei created a panic in the EV battery, claimed full charge and 3000 km range in 5 minutes. This technology is in patent stage and can compete with Tesla.

Huawei's new battery technology has launched a new debate in the electric vehicle industry. While this innovation is shocking, on the other hand experts are saying that it will take both time and money to bring it from the lab to the road. Despite this, the dream of 5 minutes charging and 3000 km range now seems to be close to reality than before.
What is Huawei's big claim
Huawei has recently filed a patent in which he has claimed that his new Solid State EV battery can give 400 to 500 wh/kg energy density. This is the reason that an electric car can run up to 3000 km from this battery and that too on 5 minutes full charging. These figures are 2 to 3 times better than existing lithium-ion batteries.
Preparation to compete with Tesla
While the supercharger technique of Tesla gives 200 miles (about 320 km) in 15 minutes, Huawei's technology is far ahead of it. Chinese companies like byd have also recently shown 5 minutes of charging systems. This is the reason that Tesla's shares have seen a decline and a surge in BYD shares.
The matter is about the lab, but in reality still away
However, this technology is still in the lab and has not reached the commercial level. The material which takes it to make a solid state battery is quite expensive. The price of a unit can be around ₹ 1.2 lakh. Apart from this, infrastructure for such fast charging is also not at the moment.
What Huawei EV will enter the battery market
Huawei does not manufacture the battery right now, but in the last few years he has invested heavily in this sector. It is believed that Huawei is now moving towards becoming an active player in the EV battery world.
Will the future of Ev really change
If Huawei's claim is proved correct and this technology can be made on a large scale, then revolution can come in the world of EV. The 2000+ km range and 5 -minute charging combo can eliminate every fear that people think before buying EV.
