Fan Belt/Drive Belt: Check the belt that powers the engine accessories; replace it if worn.
Spark Plug or Glow Plug in Diesel Car: These are usually changed around 1 lakh KM so that the efficiency and mileage of the engine remains good.
Water Pump, Tensioner and Pulley: These parts associated with the timing belt are also often replaced together because their life is almost the same.
Engine Mounts: The rubber bushings of the mounts that connect the engine to the chassis can wear out, which can increase vibration.
Brake and suspension system
Brake Pads and Discs: At this mileage the brake pads and discs are worn out. Get them checked and replaced for better braking. The life of the shock absorbers may be exhausted during this period, which reduces ride comfort and control. These should be replaced. Also get the lower arm, ball joints and bushings checked, as they may become loose.
Tire Rod End and Ball Joint: These are important parts of steering and suspension. If they become loose, they should be changed immediately.
