New Delhi. December 2025 proved to be a profitable month for the Indian automobile industry, with sales of more than 40 lakh units across all segments. Maruti Suzuki maintained its lead in the market and registered 37.3% annual growth. This was followed by Mahindra & Mahindra, Tata Motors and Hyundai Motor India. The demand for SUVs was highest during this period. The most interesting thing in this is that Mahindra became India's largest car brand in December, leaving behind its competitors like Tata and Hyundai. This shows the increasing confidence of customers on Mahindra. It is clear that Mahindra is eyeing a bigger market share in the coming times.
