MG Motor increased the price of COMET EV for the third time, now starting from Rs 7.50 lakh. Battery subscription in BAAS model Rs 3.1 per km. No mechanical change, improvement in safety features.

Baas model battery subscription
Apart from this, according to the Baas model, the prices of battery subscription have been increased from Rs 2.9 per km to Rs 3.1 per km. At the start of this scheme, the battery fare for COMET EV was Rs 2.50 per km. COMET EV is available in four trims: Executive, Excite, Exclusive, and Blackstorm Edition. Safety features
For safety, it includes dual front airbags, electronic stability control (ESC), all 4 disc brakes, hill-hold assist, isofix child seat mounts, reverse parking camera and sensor, and electronic parking brakes. The COMET EV gets power from the 17.4 kwh battery pack which gives energy to the electric motor on the rear axle, which gives 41 bhp and 110 Nm torque.
