The design of the new Renault Duster is completely new, which is based on the global third-generation model. Its profile is clean. The length is 4343 mm, which is slightly less than the Hyrider.
At the same time, the design of Toyota Hyrider is more modern and crossover-style. It has split headlamps, chrome accents, sleek grille and LED taillamps. It appeals to urban users, but is not as rugged as the Duster. The length of the Hyrider is 4365 mm, which is longer than the Duster, but both are almost equal in width and height.

The interior of the Duster has been completely redesigned for India, with a boxy dashboard, hard-wearing plastics and a rugged feel. It has 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment, 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, ventilated seats, premium acoustics, modular storage and spacious cabin. It is roomier and practical, suitable for family use.
The interior of the Toyota Hyrider is tech-rich, with 9-inch infotainment, heads-up display, ventilated seats and spacious rear seats. It feels more premium, but doesn't have as much modular storage as the Duster. The boot space in both is around 400-450 litres, but the cabin of Duster seems more comfortable.

The Duster is feature-rich, including a 10.1-inch touchscreen with wireless Android Auto/Apple CarPlay, wireless charger, dual-zone climate control, powered tailgate, 6-way powered and ventilated front seats, 48-color ambient lighting, keyless entry, multi-drive modes and a panoramic sunroof. It also has Level 2 ADS, which makes it advanced.

Both cars have good safety features. The Duster comes with 6 airbags, ABS with EBD, electronic stability control, rear parking sensors, ISOFIX child seat anchorages, 360-degree camera, auto headlamps and rain-sensing wipers. Engine and Performance
The Duster's strong hybrid engine is a 1.8-litre petrol (109 hp) paired with two electric motors and a 1.4 kWh battery, producing a total of 160 hp and 172 Nm torque. It comes with an e-CVT gearbox, which gives better acceleration (0-100 km/h in about 10 seconds).
The Hyrider has a 1.5-litre mild hybrid (102 hp) or strong hybrid (92 hp petrol + electric, total around 114 hp and 122 Nm). Its mileage is up to 27 kmpl, but the performance is less than Duster (12.4 seconds in 0-100 km/h). Hyrider is better in efficiency, but lags behind in power and torque.
