Maruti Suzuki Dzire Facelift has been spotted several times during testing on Indian roads. Recently leaked spy shots have revealed many features of the car. These shots show what will be special in the new model.

What will be the change in exteriors?
Many new changes have been made in the design of the updated Dezire. There is a split grille at the front of the car, in the middle of which the Suzuki logo is visible. The design of the headlamp is similar to the new Swift. Apart from this, new dual-spoke alloy-wheels with black finish have been included in this 5-seater car. Newly designed LED tail lamps and newly designed bumper will also be seen at the rear.

Interiors and technology will also be upgraded
Customers will get many new facilities in the cabin of Maruti Suzuki Dezire facelift. It includes a floating touchscreen infotainment system supporting wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity. Along with this, a wireless smartphone charger and upgraded semi-digital instrument console will also be available. Keeping safety in mind, the car will also be provided with 360-degree camera and multi airbags.

The engine of the car will be like this
Under the powertrain, the Dezire facelift will be powered by a new Z-series 1.2-litre 3-cylinder petrol engine, which is capable of generating 80bhp of maximum power and 112Nm of peak torque. Customers will also get the option of 5-speed manual and automatic transmission in this car.

New Gen Maruti Dzire: The next generation model of Maruti Suzuki's most successful sedan Dzire is going to be launched in the Indian market soon. Before the official launch, this new model has been seen during testing, and its complete design has also been revealed.

According to Autocar India's report, Maruti Suzuki is preparing to launch this sedan after Diwali. The company has taken special care that the look of the new Dzire is different from the Swift hatchback. Dzire is the number-1 car in the sedan segment, and it will compete directly with Tata Tigor, Hyundai Aura and Honda Amaze.

These features can be found in the next-gen Desire
The leaked image reveals the new design of the next generation Dzire. It includes a larger grille, full LED headlamps, LED fog lights, new front and rear bumpers, and new alloy wheels. This updated model will also get features like a 360-degree camera, tri-arrow LED taillights, integrated spoiler on the bootlid and a segment-first electric sunroof. The interior will have beige upholstery and a dark colour dashboard theme.

The company can install Swift's engine
The new Dzire is built on the Heartect platform of the new Swift, and both cars will have many common components. The new generation Swift is powered by a 1.2-liter 3-cylinder Z-series petrol engine that generates 82 PS of power and 112 Nm of torque. This engine comes with a 5-speed manual and 5-speed AMT transmission. The same engine is likely to be used in the Dzire as well.

What will be the mileage
According to the company, the petrol manual variant of the new Swift gives a mileage of 24.8 km per liter and the petrol AMT variant gives a mileage of 25.75 km per liter. It is believed that the mileage of Dzire may be slightly less, but it is expected that the CNG variant of Dzire can also be launched.

6 airbags, cruise control and many safety features will be available
The new Dzire will get features like a new 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless smartphone connectivity, wireless charger, 6 airbags, ESP, hill hold control, auto climate control, rear parking sensor, reverse camera, cruise control, electrically adjustable ORVMs, LED headlights and LED taillights. Apart from this, the new model will also have LED DRLs and LED fog lamps.

Will be equipped with sunroof

The model seen during testing also had a sunroof, which makes it likely that the Dzire will also have the sunroof feature. The price of the new Dzire may be slightly higher than the current model. In the Indian market, it will compete with Honda Amaze and Hyundai Aura, but Dzire is at the forefront in its category and its sales are unmatched.
