New Delhi. Maruti Suzuki has officially started the production of E Vitara Electric SUV at Hansalpur plant in Gujarat. This brand's first electric offer will be sold not only in India, but will also be exported to about 100 international markets. The new Maruti E Vitara was introduced at Auto Expo 2025. Since then, buyers are waiting for its launch. Even before the launch, there has been a lot of creation in the market for this car. The big reason for this is that this is the company's first electric car. Brands like Tata and Mahindra have prepared their big electric portfolio in India.

Two battery pack options
Maruti E Vitra will be available with two battery pack options – 61.1kwh and 48.8kwh. Both options, combined with a single electric motor, claim to give a range of 500 km once charged. Apart from this, the battery can be charged from DC fast charger to zero to 80 percent in 50 minutes.

Available in three variants

2025 E-Vitara will be available in three variants, named Delta, Zeta, and Alpha. Customers can choose from a 10 color range, including Opulant Red, Blueish Black, Arctic White, Grandure Gray, Splendid Silver, Nexa Blue, and Dual-Tone Shades including land brings green, splendid silver, opullant red, and Arctic White, with all the Blue Black Roof.

The main features of upcoming Maruti Suzuki E Vitara will include LED projector headlamps, electric sunroof, adas suit, 360-degree camera, ventilated front seats, wireless mobile charger, drive modes, seven airbags, automatic climatic contribution, automatic climatic screen, dual 10-inch screen, 18-inch alloy Wheels, fog lights, and three-point LED DRLs and tail lights.

How much will the price be?
The company has not yet announced the official price of this car. The next month i.e. September 2025, its price can be revealed. Talking about the possible price, it is believed that it can be launched between the price range of 20 lakh to 25 lakhs.

New Delhi. Maruti Suzuki introduced E Vitara for India at 2025 Bharat Mobility Global Expo last month and is expected to be launched in the market around March. The midsize electric SUV is built on the e-hatect platform and will be available in three trims-delta, zeta and alpha-which corresponds to the normal variant lineup of Maruti Suzuki. Customers can choose from 10 color options including 6 single-tone shades and 4 dual-tone set ups.

Prepared for compatible models like Hyundai Creta Electric, Tata Curve EV, Mahindra XUV 400, MG ZS EV and Mahindra BE6, E Vitara will enter the compatiated electric SUV segment. Inside, the cabin comes with a dual-tone layout, which is extended by applying vertical stacked AC vent. The door armrest includes ventilated fabric. A 10.25 -inch digital instrument cluster and a 10.1 -inch touchscreen infotainment system is also found in its interior.

70 kg watt DC fast charging
Maruti Suzuki E Vitara will offer two battery pack options – a 48.8 kwh unit and a large 61.1 kwh option. However, the all-wheel-drive configuration will be launched in global markets. The entry-level delta variants will be paired with only 48.8 kwh battery, while mid-spec and top-tier alpha trims buyers will be given the option to select between the two battery setups. Each variant of E Vitara will be compatible with 70 kW DC fast charging.

500 km range
According to Maruti Suzuki, the electric SUV is capable of running more than 500 km on full charge. The LFP battery pack obtained from Byd, both gives power to Vitara in configuration. The 48.8 kwh variant is equipped with a single electric motor that produces 142 bhp and 192.5 Nm torque, while 61.1 kwh batteries increase the output with torque to 172 bhp.
