0 to 100 speed in 4.9 seconds! India's cheapest supercar reached showroom
New Delhi. JSW MG Motor announced its MG Select Program last year. Under this program, the company will launch the CBU (Complete Built Unit) model in India. The first model to be launched under this new program is Cyberester. It was introduced at the global level in All-Electric Roadster 2023 and was publicly showcased for the first time at the Bharat Mobility Expo early this year. Now this India's cheapest supercar has started reaching the showroom in India.

Soon the eyes will come on the road
Earlier it was expected that it would be launched in early 2025, but MG has not yet officially launched the cybrester in India. For this, pre-booking started in March this year on a token amount of Rs 51,000, which can be done from the MG select dealership or the company's official website. This electric sports car is now finally ready to run on Indian roads from the first week of July.

Mg cyberster reached showroom

Prior to the official launch, MG has started sending Cyberester units to the select showroom. A video uploaded on YouTube channel 'Automobile with Bruce' shows a brilliant red Mg Cyberester brought from the trailer truck to a showroom. Inspired by the 1960s famous MG B Roadster, Mg Cyberester combines the attraction of classic roadster with futuristic design and sophisticated technology. And this definitely attracts the attention of all the audience.

No disclosure of specification
MG has not yet officially explained the specifications of the India-Spec Cyberester, but we hope that it will be similar to the UK-spec model. The UK-spec Mg Cybrester is available in two variants: Trophy and GT. The trophy has a single-motor, rear-wheel drive (RWD) setup, while GT has dual-motor, all-wheel drive (AWD) configuration.

64 kwh lithium-ion battery
The entry-level RWD variant is powered by 64 kwh lithium-ion battery, which offers 310 bhp and 475 Nm of torque with rear-mounted electric motor. It takes just 4.9 seconds to catch the cybrester to catch a speed of 0 to 100 km/h and its top speed is 193 km/h. A similar configuration is also expected in the India-Spec version.
