For the first time, a car worth Rs 25 lakh defeated the Nexon SUV! Left behind in November sale

New Delhi. When we talk about bestselling SUVs, names like Nexon and Creta come to mind first. But for the first time, a Rs 25 lakh SUV has overtaken the Nexon. Tata Motors has sold more than 20,000 units of Nexon for the last three consecutive months. However, it is important to note that the sales numbers of its EV version are also included in this. As we know, Nexon.EV has played an important role in normalizing the electric segment in India. This model has been one of the best selling EVs. Yes, Punch.evi has also gained popularity rapidly. But the real shocking moment came in November 2025! To expand the EV segment, Tata Motors launched Harrier.EV in July 2025. And like every Tata SUV, the Harrier.EV also gained popularity due to its feature- and performance-laden offering and aggressive pricing.

This formula worked for Tata Motors and for the first time Harrier has overtaken Nexon. Talking about November 2025, Tata Motors sold 2,458 units of Harrier.EV. At the same time, only 2,230 units of Nexon.EV were sold. There is a huge price difference between the two models and Tata Motors says that the top model of the Harrier.EV is driving sales for the brand. However, the ICE model of Harrier is far behind the Nexon ICE in terms of sales.

Tata Harrier.EV – Why so popular?

This SUV offers best-in-class features, technology and performance, that too at an aggressive price. Talking about the price, the price of Harrier.EV is currently between Rs 22.66 lakh to Rs 31.46 lakh on-road in Mumbai. With the top model, you also get the option of AWD, which is the specialty of this SUV. Tata Motors says that the AWD variants have received better response than expected.

Feature Loaded EV
Talking about some special features, Harrier.EV has a 14.5-inch touchscreen system (Samsung NEO OLED screen), 10-speaker JBL black sound system, 540-degree camera, digital IRVM, auto park, summon mode and much more.
