Tata Punch.ev (Facelift)

The facelift version of Tata Punch.ev is expected to be launched on 20 February 2026. Its estimated price ranges from Rs 9.99 lakh to Rs 14.50 lakh (ex-showroom). This model is based on Tata's Acti.EV platform and will be available in 25kWh and 35kWh battery pack options, offering a range of 315 to 421 km.

The facelift includes design updates like a new front bumper, LED DRLs, more angular front and rear fascia. The interior can get better touchscreen infotainment system, wireless charging and ADAS features like automatic emergency braking, lane keep assist and adaptive cruise control. This SUV is perfect for city driving as its compact size and high ground clearance provide off-road capability.

Tata Sierra.ev

Tata Sierra.ev is likely to be launched by March 2026. Its price can range from Rs 15 lakh to Rs 30 lakh. It is built on the Acti.EV+ platform and will have 55kWh and 65kWh battery pack options, which give a range of more than 500 kilometers. RWD and AWD variants will be available, as well as dual-motor setup. The design includes modern touches like slick LED headlights, a large panoramic sunroof and sporty alloy wheels.

The interior will be tech-rich, with a large touchscreen, digital instrument cluster, 360-degree camera and premium audio system. The ICE version of Sierra.ev is already in the market, but the EV version will make it stronger in the electric segment. It will have 49kWh and 61kWh battery packs, which provide ARAI certified range of up to 543 kilometers. This SUV will come in three trims and has received a 5-star safety rating from Bharat NCAP.

The design features SUV styling like black cladding, LED headlights and 18-inch alloy wheels. The interiors include a dual-screen setup, ventilated seats, wireless charging and ADAS features like blind spot monitoring. Maruti's extensive service network will provide it with affordable maintenance. It will compete with competitors like Creta EV and ZS EV.

Toyota Urban Cruiser Ebella

Toyota Urban Cruiser Ebella is scheduled to be launched on 16 or 19 February 2026. Its price can range from Rs 16 lakh to Rs 25 lakh. This is a rebadged version of the Maruti e-Vitara, so the specs are similar. It will get a maximum range of 543km with 49kWh and 61kWh batteries. However, Toyota has added its signature style to it.

Car Launched in Jan 2026: In the first month of this year itself, the dominance of SUVs was seen in the Indian auto market. On one hand, Tata Motors has introduced the country's cheapest SUV Tata Punch in a new avatar. At the same time, Mahindra has launched its 2 new SUVs in the market.

2026 Tata Punch

The new Tata Punch is scheduled to be launched in early January 2026, which is the facelift version of Tata's best-selling micro-SUV. Its ex-showroom price starts from ₹ 5.59 lakh and goes up to ₹ 10.54 lakh. The new Punch now looks more modern, with updated LED headlamps, connected rear light bar, revised bumpers and an EV-inspired clean design.

The engine gets a new 1.2L turbocharged petrol engine, which gives 120 PS power and 170 Nm torque, along with 6-speed gearbox. Features include a 10.25-inch touchscreen, 360-degree camera, sunroof, wireless Android Auto/Apple CarPlay and better safety features like 6 airbags and blind spot monitor. The Punch can be bought with CNG and its maximum claimed mileage is 26.99 km/kg.
