BMW Group India delivered more than 5000 electric vehicles and became the first luxury brand in the country, launched 4000 km high-power charging corridor from Jammu to Madurai.

High-power charging corridor
The charging network for all EV brands open the new launched corridor every 300 km of charging station stabilizes, making inter-city travel easier and eliminating charging availability or range engagement. Covering major highways and cities including Delhi, Jaipur, Ahmedabad, Mumbai, Pune, Hubli, Bangalore, Coimbatore and Madurai, it is available to all EV customers in the interactive India, not only BMW owners.
Each charging station will have a capacity ranging from 120 kW to 720 kW, and will be operated in partnership with Statiq and Zeon. For the convenience of customers, BMW has made chargers near cafes, restaurants and public places, where drivers can rest during recharging their vehicles. Digital integration will offer real-time charger status, root planning, filtering option through MyBMW app and in-car system.

BMW already offers around 300 BMW Destination Chargers in India's luxury hotels, resorts and malls. With partnership with public network, the company now accesses over 6,000 charging points across the country. BMW also offers BMW charging conjunctions to customers. Talking about growth in EV sales, BMW has been India's most favorite luxury EV brand for the last three years. In the first half of 2025, BMW Group India (BMW + Mini) sold 1,322 EV, with a growth of 234% year-on + 234%.
BMW IX1 long wheelbase is the best selling model
BMW IX1 long wheelbase emerged as the best -selling model, followed by BMW i7. The company's portfolio includes BMW i7, IX, i5, I4, IX1 LWB, MINI Conscious E, and Electric Two-wheelers CE 04 and CE 02, which offer customers the largest luxury electric option in the country.
