Fronx Fy was the highest exported passenger vehicle in 2025, in which one out of every five units were sent abroad. It is also the first Made-in-India SUV to export Japan, besides it is also popular in Latin America, Middle East and Africa. Since the launch, this SUV has made several records. It became the fastest model to reach 1 lakh sales in India within 10 months, while stones of 2 lakh and 3 lakh miles were also achieved at a record speed. In February 2025, Fronx recorded its highest monthly sales, which was more than 21,400 units.
Production crosses 5 lakhs in 28 months
The production of Maruti Suzuki Fronx started in March 2023 and since then has achieved many fast mile stones. By December 2023, it crossed the 1 lakh production mark, reached 2 lakh units in June 2024, and touched 3 lakh miles of stone in November 2024. The SUV rolled out its 4 lakhth unit in February 2025, and crossed 5 lakh production in July 2025, just 28 months after the production began.

In the case of features, Maruti Suzuki Fronx includes LED multi-Rifler headlamps, integrated LED DRLs, automatic headlamps, LED rear combination lamps, shark-fin antenna and 16-inch alloy wheels. Inside the cabin, this 9-inch HD Smart Play Pro+ Infotainment System, Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Arkamys-Tunade Slime Sound Setup, Automatic Climate Control, Out-by-Turn Navigation with head-up display, 360-digry camera and wireless four Is.
Two petrol engine options
Fronx is available in India with two petrol engine options. The 1.2-liter dual-jet dual-VVT engine that gives 89.73bhp and 113Nm torque, and a 1.0-liter turbo boosterjet engine that generates 100.06bhp and 147.6Nm torque. Transmission options include a 5-speed manual or 5-speed AMT with a 1.2-liter unit, while turbo-petrol can be taken with a 5-speed manual or 6-speed automatic gearbox. In addition, the 1.2-liter engine also comes in the CNG variants, which generates 77.5bhp and 98.5Nm torque, and is paired with a 5-speed manual transmission.
