The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways has given a major relief for non-fasting users by reducing fine for the same. According to a recent report, non-fasting users will have to pay 1.25 times more of the price of toll fee, rather than doubling. Amendment is only for users who pay through the Integrated Payment Interface (UPI). The new rule will be applicable from November 15, 2025.
