Maruti Suzuki India Limited has recalled 39506 units of Grand Vitara due to fuel indicator fault, free inspection and replacement will be done at the service center. Maruti Suzuki India Limited has issued a recall for its Grand Vitara SUV sold in the Indian market. This recall has been done due to a possible fault in the fuel level indicator and warning system of the model.

According to the automaker's announcement through a regulatory filing, 39,506 units are affected, which were manufactured between December 9, 2024 and April 29, 2025.

According to the Indian automaker, the fuel level gauge and warning light in the speedometer unit may not display the fuel level correctly, which may give drivers wrong information about the fuel left in the tank.

The brand will directly contact the owners of the affected vehicles to resolve this issue. Affected customers will be requested to visit an authorized Maruti Suzuki service center to get the fault checked and replaced.

This recall has been initiated as a precautionary measure, and MSIL has asked customers to immediately respond to communications made to dealer workshops so that necessary service of their vehicles can be done.
