Due to this, big changes are going to be seen in the automobile industry. The new GST rates will be implemented on September 22, which is also the first day of Navratri. Because of this, more selling is expected in the market than before. Because, due to low GST rates, many goods are going to be cheap. That is why car manufacturers have also started announcing new rates of their cars. Maruti Suzuki, the country's largest car company, has also declared new rates of its cars. Let's take a look.

GST 2025 – What has changed?
Before Maruti, many car brands like Mahindra and Tata have also declared new rates of their cars. According to the new GST rules, vehicles with small petrol engine from 1200cc will now be kept in 18% slab, which were earlier in the 28% category, which has now been abolished. Large cars and SUVs will now come in the new 40% GST slab, which was 50% earlier. This change means that all hatchbacks and subcompact SUV prices will be significantly cut, which will be effective from September 22. Buyers can save up to Rs 1.86 lakh on sub-4 meter SUV in this Diwali season.
