Honda Elevate is one of the most popular SUVs in the country. However, its sales have decreased in the last few months. To leave this decline behind and attract new customers, the company has decided to give great discounts in March 2025. If you are planning to buy a mid-size SUV this month, then Elevate can be a good option.

While announcing on the official website, the company has said that this month, customers can avail a discount of up to ₹ 1,81,000 on the purchase of new Elevate. Currently its price starts from ₹ 11,59,890 and goes up to ₹ 15.40 lakh. After getting the discount it will become even cheaper. Let us also take a look at its design, interior, features, safety, engine and mileage details.

design details

The company makes it attractive with its alpha-bold signature grille, LED projector headlamps with integrated DRLs and turn indicators, LED tail lamps with dual trails and R17 dual-tone diamond-cut alloy wheels. Auto-folding door mirrors are equipped with LED turn signals and LED fog lamps provide better visibility in fog. Top class ground clearance of 220mm makes it easy to navigate even on bad roads and off-road.

Special editions like the Signature Black Edition offer a sporty look with a complete all-black front-rear design, gloss black multi-spoke R17 wheels, front under spoiler and black roof rails. The ADV Edition adds to the adventurous appeal with an all-black Alpha-Bold Plus grille with Active Orange accents, ADV Terrain decals on the hood and doors, glossy black alloy wheels with orange highlights and rear lower garnish. The overall design attracts both youth and family buyers.

Cabin and Comfort

Talking about the interior, the cabin of Honda Elevate gives a modern and premium feel. Brown-black two-tone or new ivory interior options are available with leatherette upholstery. The sporty black seats are embossed with black stitching and active orange stitching in the ADV edition.

Rhythmic ambient lighting in 7 colours, premium leatherette door linings, glossy black AC vents and orange gear surround garnish add luxury to the interiors. The list of features is quite rich. Its 10.25 inch advanced HD touchscreen infotainment system supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The Elevate has a refined 1.5 liter i-VTEC DOHC with VTC petrol engine, which has a capacity of 1498 cc. It generates 121 PS power (at 6600 rpm) and 145 Nm torque (at 4300 rpm). The engine is smooth, responsive and low friction, which is perfect for both city and highway driving. It can be bought with a 6-speed manual transmission or a CVT automatic (7-step). Its ARAI certified mileage is 15.31 kmpl in manual and 16.92 kmpl in CVT.

City, Amaze keep Honda sales steady, carmaker pins hope on Elevate for a boost

Honda Cars India has registered a marginal rise in its sales in August with one of the smallest fleet any carmaker has in India. With the help of its two sedans – the fifth generation City and the sub-compact Amaze, the carmaker has been able to deliver 7,880 units last month. The Japanese auto giant’s sales in India has grown by one per cent compared to the same month last year. The carmaker is now gearing up to launch the Elevate compact SUV, its third model in India, on Monday (September 4).

Honda’s sales last month is barely 31 units more than the carmaker sold in August last year. However, the carmaker has clocked a decent jump in sales compared to the previous month. In July this year, Honda had clocked 4,864 units. The Japanese carmaker attributed the rise to growing demands ahead of festive season. “The festive demand has been strong and continues to show good momentum. The celebratory fervour, which began with Onam in southern India, will extend to the rest of the markets as we move towards the peak of festivities in the coming months,” Yuichi Murata, Director Marketing and Sales at Honda Cars India, said.

Meanwhile, Honda’s export has dropped to 2,189 units against 2,356 units in August 2022, a decline of around seven per cent.

Honda is gearing up to add a compact SUV in its sedan-only lineup on September 4 when it officially launches the Elevate. Honda Cars has already received good response on bookings for the SUV. Bookings were opened on July 3 for 5,000. The deliveries are expected to begin soon after it is launched.

Honda Elevate SUV will be offered in four variants – SV, V, VX and ZX. The carmaker will initially offer the SUV with seven single colour options. The SUV will be offered with a 1.5-litre DOHC i-VTEC petrol engine, which is also used for the Honda City sedan. This engine churns out 119 bhp of power and 145.1 Nm torque. The engine is available with a six-speed manual gearbox and an advanced CVT gearbox.

Honda Cars is all set to launch the Elevate SUV, its first in years in India, weeks before the upcoming festive season. The Japanese auto giant has already started to accept bookings for the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos rival. According to latest information, the Elevate SUV has already garnered a healthy number in terms of bookings. In fact, sources say that one may have to wait up to four months to drive home the latest Honda SUV once it hits the roads.

Honda Cars is expected to launch the Elevate SUV ahead of the festive season. The Elevate will be the only SUV in Honda’s lineup for India.

Honda Elevate SUV is expected to launch in India in September. The bookings for the Elevate SUV was opened in July by the carmaker. Honda Elevate SUV made its official debut in June. It is the first compact SUV from the Japanese carmaker in India, which has been developed specifically for the Indian customers and will hit be launched here first ahead of other countries. Honda’s foray into the compact SUV segment is relatively late considering how some of the Korean rivals as well as fellow Japanese carmakers have already got a stronghold in the segment.

Honda will offer the Elevate SUV in four variants called the SV, V, VX and ZX. The Elevate SUV will be offered in seven single colour options which include Platinum White Pearl, Lunar Silver Metallic, Obsidian Blue Pearl, Radiant Red Metallic, Golden Brown Metallic, Meteoroid Gray Metallic and Phoenix Orange Pearl. There will be three dual-tone options available on the CVT variants which include Phoenix Orange Pearl with Crystal Black Pearl Roof, Platinum White Pearl with Crystal Black Pearl Roof and Radiant Red Metallic with Crystal Black Pearl Roof.

Under the hood, the Elevate SUV will be offered with a 1.5-litre DOHC i-VTEC petrol engine, which is also used for the Honda City sedan. This engine churns out 121 PS of power and 145.1 Nm torque. The engine is available with a six-speed manual gearbox and there is an advanced CVT on offer. Honda has recently revealed the fuel efficiency figures of the Elevate SUV. Honda says that the Elevate SUV has a mileage of 15.31 kmpl in manual variants while the CVT versions will offer 16.92 kmpl of mileage.

In terms of size, the Honda Elevate SUV is bigger than Hyundai Creta. It stands 4,312 mm in length, 1,790 mm in width and 1,650 mm in height along with 220 mm of ground clearance, which is around 30 mm more than the Korean rival. The Elevate also offers 458 litres of boot space.

Honda Elevate will also become the latest compact SUV to offer ADAS through its Honda Sensing technology, also used in City. In fact, the Elevate SUV is going to be the only model in India to be offered with ADAS functionality even in the manual variants.
