New Delhi. Three new 5-seater SUVs are set to arrive on India's roads by October 2025, which will be available with petrol and diesel, hybrid and fully electric powertrain options. Maruti Escudo
Maruti's new midsize SUV is scheduled to be launched on 3 September 2025. Although its official name has not been announced yet, it is being known as Maruti Escudo. It will be based on the Grand Vitara and will be especially sold through the Arena dealership network. According to the leaked information, Maruti Escudo will be the first Maruti Suzuki with Dolby Atmos technology and level-2 ADAS suit in India. It will also get powered tailgate and 4WD (four-wheel drive) system. Like the Grand Vitara, the new Maruti Midsize SUV will come with three engine options – 1.5L petrol, 1.5L hybrid and CNG.

Tata Sierra EV

Sierra will come to the showroom during the Diwali season of EV 2025, while its ICE-Paward version is expected to be launched in early 2026. This can take 65kwh and 75kwh LFP battery pack from Tata Harrier EV. High trims can be offered with QWD (quad wheel drive) system option.

The launch date of the new Reno Caiger facelift is scheduled on August 24, while the third-Jen Hyundai Venue will be available for sale on 24 October. Reno Caiger facelift
The latest official teaser has shown a slightly updated rear profile of the new carigar. Codename Qu2i, the new-generation Hyundai Venue will have much better styling and interior. Facilities like ventilated front seats, large display screen, panoramic sunroof and Adas (Advanced Driver Assistance System) may be part of the updated feature kit. Some design elements will be taken from Creta and Alkazar in 2025 Hyundai Venue. The new-jane model will be available with current 1.0L turbo, 1.2L natural aspirated petrol and 1.5L diesel engine options.

Tata Panch facelift
In October 2025, both ICE-quarters Tata Panch and Panch EV are going to get midlife updates. Spy images suggest that the updated punch will have a newly designed front grille, thin headlamps, new LED DRL signature and redesigned front bumper. New designed alloy wheels can also be found in it. A new two-spoke steering wheel, large touchscreen, fully digital instrument cluster and touch-based HVAC control panels are expected to be taken from the recently launched ultraz facelift at the compact SUV. 2025 Tata Panch will retain the existing engine setup.
