6 Airbags, 360° Camera and Sunroof! Hyundai will launch 3 new cars soon, starting price less than ₹ 6 lakh

Hyundai is going to make a splash in the Indian auto market in the coming days. Along with updating its existing popular models, the company is also launching new SUVs. Especially the compact SUV based on New Hyundai Exeter Facelift, New Hyundai Verna Facelift and Hyundai Bayon, all three will soon be seen in the Indian car market.

These cars will create a strong hold in different segments. Out of these, there is going to be a micro SUV, a mid-size sedan and a compact crossover. These updates are expected to increase Hyundai's sales, because Indian customers are now focusing more on style, technology, safety and value for money. Let us know in detail about these three upcoming cars, which will be launched by the end of 2026.

New Hyundai Exeter Facelift

Launching in 2023, Hyundai Exeter has proved to be a hit in the micro SUV segment. Now it is coming back with a mid-life facelift. Its launch is most likely to happen in June 2026, although some reports are also mentioning March-April. The estimated ex-showroom price is expected to be between Rs 5.50 lakh to Rs 9.80 lakh, making it budget friendly.

There will be small, but attractive changes in the exterior design. The front will get a revised grille, new bumper and H-shaped daytime running lights (DRL). Redesigned tailgate, new tail lamps and updated bumper will be seen in the rear. The boxy SUV look of the car will remain intact, but it will look more modern with new alloy wheels and colours.

The interior will be the biggest highlight. It will have a 12.9-inch large touchscreen infotainment system and a 9.9-inch digital instrument cluster. This will be India's first mass-market car, which will run on Google's Android Automotive OS (AAOS). With this, over-the-air updates, Google Maps and third-party apps can be used easily. The cabin will give a more premium feel with new upholstery, better materials and improved ergonomics.

There will be no major changes in the powertrain. It is to be offered with 1.2 liter Kappa petrol engine (82 bhp) manual and AMT gearbox only. The CNG variant will also continue, which is going to be excellent in terms of mileage. In safety, features like 360 degree camera, 6 airbags standard, ESC, hill assist will remain intact. This facelift will be perfect for young buyers and family users who want both tech and style. Considering the current success of Exeter, these updates will help in increasing the company's sales.

New Hyundai Verna Facelift

After the new generation of Hyundai Verna 2023, it will now be refreshed with a facelift in 2026. The launch is likely to take place between March and May 2026. The estimated price will be Rs 11 lakh to Rs 18 lakh ex-showroom, which will make it strong in the premium sedan segment. There will be mild updates in the exterior. It includes a new front end design, updated bumpers with redesigned headlamps and taillamps. Taking inspiration from global models like Sonata, it will look more sporty and elegant. Colors and wheel design will also be new.

A big change will be seen in the interior. It will include 12.3-inch dual digital screens, new dashboard layout, redesigned steering wheel and updated technology features. The cabin will give a more luxurious feel with connected car technology, advanced infotainment and better ambient lighting.

The powertrain will remain the same. It can be purchased with 1.5 liter naturally aspirated petrol and 1.5 liter turbo petrol engine, which comes with manual, IVT and DCT options. Both mileage and performance will remain balanced. Structural safety will be strong with Level-2 EDAS (in some variants), 6 airbags and 360 degree camera.

Hyundai Bayon based car

Hyundai Bayon is a popular crossover in Europe, but in India it will come in the form of a new compact SUV (codenamed BC4i) based on the Bayon platform. It will be positioned between Exeter and Venue, that is, it will be sold in the sub-4 meter category. The launch is expected to happen in October 2026 or festive season. The estimated price will be between Rs 8 lakh to Rs 15 lakh.

The design will be quite boxy and SUV-like. It may get split headlamps, large SUV-style grille, muscular rear bumper, roof rails and new alloy wheels. Looks like Venue but with different alloy and lighting design, the interior will also be premium, which will have new gen features, big touchscreen, digital cluster and good space.

The main powertrain will be the new 1.2 liter turbo petrol engine, which can also be hybrid ready. The 1.0 liter turbo option can come with DCT or e-CVT gearbox. There is a possibility of diesel not arriving. N Line variant can also be launched, which will give sporty appeal. Mileage is also expected to be good. In the market it will compete with vehicles like Maruti Fronx.
