Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) has recorded its best ever sales report in February 2026. The company sold a total of 66,134 units, which shows an increase of 12.6 percent compared to February last year. This achievement includes sales of 52,407 units in the domestic market, an annual growth of 9.8 percent, while 13,727 units were shipped in exports, showing an impressive growth of 24.8 percent.

This success comes after the record performance of January 2026, where the company had sold 59,107 units in the domestic market, which was a growth of 9.5 percent. Back-to-back record sales at the beginning of the year show that Hyundai has been successful in maintaining popularity among Indian customers. The company's MD and CEO Tarun Garg said that with total sales of 66,134 units in February, which is the highest for any February in our history, we registered a strong year-on-year growth of 12.6 percent.

This success of Hyundai is mainly based on its popular models like Creta, Venue, Exeter, i20 and Grand i10 Nios. New Delhi. Hyundai Motor India Limited recorded a total of 70,347 units in September, which was 64,201 units in the same month of the previous year. It recorded 10 percent growth from year to year (YOY). The car manufacturer sold 51,547 units in the domestic market, in which the SUV contributed the most to its total sales.

The Hyundai Creta emerged as the best -selling Hyundai, who won its best monthly cell 18,861 units. At the same time, Hyundai Venue recorded its highest sales 11,484 units in the last 20 months. The car manufacturer revealed that its total exports increased by 17% YOY to 99,540 units during the April-September 2025 period. Despite its strong performance, Hyundai slipped to number four among India's largest car manufacturers, behind Tata Motors (59,667 units) and Mahindra & Mahindra (56,714 units).

Hyundai Creta and Venue prices cut
After GST 2.0 reforms, there has been a significant cut in the prices of both SUVs. The prices of Hyundai Creta have decreased by Rs 72,145, while the prices of Venue have become cheaper by Rs 1.23 lakh. With the new GST benefits, the Creta lineup is now available in the price limit of Rs 10.72 lakh – Rs 19.30 lakh and the Creta N line is between Rs 16.34 lakh – Rs 19.94 lakh.
