Second generation Hyundai Venue revealed ahead of launch, booking starts at ₹25,000

With the all-new Hyundai Venue, the carmaker is taking the story even further by embodying the company's 'Take Up Go Beyond' vision, which claims to offer a driving experience that is dynamic and deeply connected to the evolving lifestyle of our customers. HX2, expanding to HX4, HX6 and HX10. This new nomenclature reflects a more tech-oriented and lifestyle-driven product lineup.

Second Hyundai Venue: Design

The 2026 Venue has a more muscular and powerful design. It is longer, wider and taller than its predecessor, measuring 3,995 mm in length, 1,800 mm in width, 1,665 mm in height and a 2,520 mm wheelbase, an increase of 20 mm. The front also includes quad-beam LED headlamps, twin horn LED DRLs, a dark chrome grille and bridge-type roof rails. At the rear, there is a fresh signature C-pillar garnish, Venue badging within the rear glass and horizon-style bridged LED taillamps. Raised wheel arches and sculpted body panels give the Venue a strong stance, in line with the growing popularity of “large SUV” proportions within the class.

Second Hyundai Venue: Features

Inside, the 2026 Venue offers a redesigned cabin experience. It is available with dual 12.3-inch curved panoramic displays, one for the infotainment and the other for the digital cluster. The interior is complemented by terrazzo-textured crash pads and a dual-tone theme in dark navy and dove grey. Premium features include dual-tone leather seats with ambient lighting (Moon White), D-cut steering wheel and Venue branding. The longer wheelbase is expected to provide better legroom for the rear seats, which also get a 2-step reclining function, sunshades on the rear window, rear AC vents and an electric 4-way adjustable driver seat. The cabin is a blend of sophistication and utility, offering ample shoulder and head space for all passengers.

The interior of the second generation Hyundai Venue is complemented by terrazzo-textured crash pads and a dual-tone theme in dark navy and dove grey.

The second generation Venue also has other luxury features including an 8-speaker Bose audio system, dual-zone climate control, ambient lighting, front ventilated seats and a panoramic sunroof on higher trims. On the safety front, the new Venue will also feature Level-2 ADAS, based on the Level-1 suite of the existing model, which features forward collision warning, lane departure warning and driver attention alert. New updates include adaptive cruise control, blind spot collision warning, front parking sensors and 360 degree camera.

Second Hyundai Venue: Specs

Under the bonnet, the 2026 Hyundai Venue is equipped with a variety of engines to cater to diverse driving habits. Buyers can choose between a 1.2-litre Kappa MPI petrol, a 1.0-litre turbo GDI petrol and a 1.5-litre U2 CRDI diesel. These engine options are paired with either a manual gearbox, iMT, automatic or a 7-speed dual-clutch (DCT).

Hyundai Venue Executive Turbo launched at ₹9.99 lakh

The Executive Turbo trim comes with 16-inch dual-tone stylized wheels, dark chrome on the grille, roof rails, shark fin antenna and an ‘Executive’ emblem on the tailgate. The interior gets a front centre armrest with storage, 2-step rear reclining seats, 60:40 split seats and adjustable headrests for all passengers.

There is an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, which comes with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay and voice recognition. There is also a digital cluster with a TFT MID for the driver.

For safety, there are 6 airbags, 3 point seatbelts with seat belt reminders, Electronic Stability Control, Vehicle Stability Management, Hill Assist Control, automatic headlamps, tyre pressure monitoring system etc.

Powering the new variant is the same 1.0-litre three-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine. It puts out 118 bhp of max power at 6,000 rpm and a peak torque output of 172 Nm at 1,500 to 4,000 rpm. The Executive Turbo is only available with a 6-speed manual transmission. The engine also comes with an Idle Start/Stop system to enhance fuel efficiency.

Hyundai has also updated the Venue S (O) Turbo variant with an electric sunroof and map lamps for the passenger and the driver. This variant is available with a 6-speed manual gearbox and a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.
